Informix 7.14 on AIX & SCO UNIX

Hi there, I am faced with a problem regarding Informix 7.14 running on AIX 4.1.5. With 8 Processors, the system is totally processor bound, as the application is Uniface. I cannot add more processors....There is no disk bottleneck. What I am interested in doing is this.. Getting Dell Twin 400Mhz pentium machine, insatlling SCO UNIX and running the application on the SCO machine, leaving the RS6000 free to do just database work. The question is this, where will the stored procedures be executed? If the users log onto the SCO machine, and execute the application from there, will the stored procedures be executed on the SCO machine or the RS6000. This is the first time I have had this type of problem, to advice would be most welcome. Graham Mitchell grammi007@classic.msn.com
