ontape -r fail

Hi all, We usually do a full informix backup with the command 'ontape -s -L 0' on the Compaq DLT tape backup everynight without error under UW7.0.1. But today the restore command 'ontape -r' cannot read the cassettes....!!! The TAPEDEV in onconfig file set to non rewind tape device TAPEDEV /dev/rmt/nrtapedevice for ex. I suspect that is the cause of error....The non rewind or rewind tape device should be set to be able to backup and restore Informix engine properly. Also the value of TAPEBLK / TAPESIZE should I set.....? Thanks in advance for any advise. H.V
