Trigger dropped

Other then issue 'drop trigger XXXX' command, is there other factors that may cause the trigger to disappear? We have a trigger that would just 'disappear' for reason-yet-to-be-discovered, any help would be appreciated. Frank

If the table is dropped and recreated.
