As far as I know Informix doesn't yet have that for Windows NT yet (believe it or not?!?). He needs OpenLink or some other ODBC driver which supports Windows NT. With this he also doesn't need Informix-Net on the Unix side as far as I know. As to performance it will probably be ok. Why there might be any need for stored procedures I don't know, appart from any he wants to use in his application. He would have to upgrade his server for that though, as SE 5.0.1 doesn't support them.
