It's a shame you're using Informix on NT otherwise you could use the
Security Manager in our ODBC driver (see
http://www.sco.com/support/ciservices/sqlr/docs/secman.html). However,
you should be able to find an ODBC driver for Informix/NT that does have
an additional security module to do exactly what you want. In this way,
you can restrict the access at the ODBC level and won't have to touch
the database.
