Translating with DrWatson… this can take a few seconds the first time.
This is a genuine, complex translation. DrWatson protects commands, error codes, and log output while naturally translating the surrounding text. It’s translated once and saved.
Mars Chen could not run ids_install for IDS 11.50 on Red Hat Enterprise 5 because the Java runtime failed, and a JDK 1.2.2 segfaulted. Jean Georges Perrin asked if the aim was a Java UDR. After clarification, Mars installed a jre1.6.0 and the installation finished. Solved.

I am sorry that I did not describe the problem in details ,
I try to run ids_install to install IDS 11.50 ,
but failed because I don't have a good Java Run Time Environment ,
"this application requires the Java Run Time Environment to run" ,
I have a JDK1.2.2 in the RedHat Enterprise 5 , I used to use it
in Enterprise 3 , but don't know why it failed in this RHEL 5 ,
so , I'd like to ask , what jre should I use so that I can run
ids_install ...
