options insert key control-a, delete key control-a Because control-a is an editting command 4gl interprets it as an editing command. The sequence never executes the insert or delete function beause it is always interpreted as an editing command. Pa366 section 21 of the Informix-4Gl by Example manual. Gregg ...................
