IDS 9.40.UC2 / RedHat AS 3 / 4CPUs (OS sees 8) I'm building a primary key / unique index on a 140M+ row table. I have PDQ=100 in the environment, PSORT_NPROCS=6 and NETTYPE ipcshm,6,30,CPU. Question: I have 2 temp spaces. Will adding temp spaces - on different spindles - speed up the index build? TIA
