Graeme The performance tools for SE are purely Unix. See the sar command (man sar). There are other tools, such as top, that are available on the internet (I dont have the address) which needs to be compiled on your SCO version and will list current activity on your machine. When running sqls you can "set explain on" to get the Informix optimiser to output a file (sqexplain.out) containing its decision on the chosen path for that sql on that database.
