Note: I do not speak *for* Informix! There's good news and bad news. The bad news is that not only will 4GL version 6 not be sold any more, it won't even be supported. The good news is that 4GL v 7 is scheduled for release in the "first half" of 1998. I expect Informix management will realize that this puts 4GL customers in a position of upgrading overnight in order to maintain support, and that they'll change the current plan. >To Informix: what's going on? Be aware that posting to c.d.i. is not one of those channels. Remember that Informix is trying to get a new version of 4GL out, and plans to maintain it and support it.
