Performance SQL

Hi, Does anyone have some SQL that can provide basic average query response time data. Thank you. Tony
There's no such thing. Average response time for what? A server connection? Opening a database after connection? Connect and open database together? A single table SELECT? A two table join - via index - with no index? An N table join? An outer join? Between small tables? Between large tables? Between tables of vastly differing sizes? Your question is meaningless. You have to benchmark your own application needs. If you cannot do that with an actual database you need to build a benchmark database that will behave similarly. Any benchmarks I have will be useless to you. Art S.
