Informix ODBC

I have installed the Informix Client SDK (including the Intersolv ODBC driver) and have used the Windows ODBC Administrator to create a profile for connecting to an Informix server on our network. But when I try to connect from any client app., I get told that the INFORMIXSERVER property is not available from the sqlhosts file or Registry. The IDS that I'm trying to connect to is on a remote machine. (I know the server is fine, because I have ODBC access working from another machine which had both a server and client installation.) Hi Peter, You have to specify the information about the server in the SETNET utility before accessing the database. Imran.
