Database Sizing Query

Hi Folks, First thanks to Bruce Momjian for his scripts for updating dbexport sql files with extent sizing and locking modes. They came along just when I needed them. Second does anyone have full or partial scripts for the following two problems. 1) Estimating how much unix file space will be needed by a dbexport. 2) Estimating from the dbexport sql file the number of Online pages that will be required for a dbimport of a database. Many thanks in advance. Cheers - Jim My opinions are my own. They may vary with time but they remain MINE! ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Name: Jim Gordon Internet: jgordon@ssf-sys.DHL.COM Company: DHL Systems Inc Phone: (415) 375-5222 Address: 700 Airport Blvd. #300 Fax: (415) 375-5019 Burlingame, CA 94010-1937 ----------------------------------------------------------------------
