Not good for a billing app. Is there any way to prevent thi= > s=20 > final eject? > > Would setting the page length to 0 and letting the printer control=20 > the page breaks work? > > All ye 4GL wizards, any recommendations? Yes shorten the page length to the actual number of lines needed and in the OUTPUT section add the folowing clause: OUTPUT TOP OF PAGE "^L" PAGE LENGTH 58 Where "^L" is the literal string containing a carat chatacter (^) followed by an "L" not the ^L control character itself. This will force the use of form feeds to prevent "creeping" and the shorter page length should prevent the extra page from the last line of the report overrunning the end of the page. Art S. Kagel
