I'm old enough to share your vision deficiencies and I use a 1024 x 768 screen and the multi column I'm looking at isn't great but it's legible. And by using View | Continuous I was able to read across two separate pages on one screen _and_ cut and paste across the page break. So, given all that, what's wrong with PDF? :o>
