Re: on-line v6 on solaris 2.3?

Charlie, I tried sending this by email, but it bounced, so here goes by broadcast... I have up to three instances of 6.00.UE1 running simultaneously and happily on my machine, which runs Solaris 2.3, but we use NIS rather than NIS+ so this is probably no help to you. I have only got root, informix and johnl as local users -- all other users are from NIS maps. Earlier today, an engineer who had never used my machine before logged in and used one of the OnLine systems without any problems. I can send multiple onconfig files if that is any help, but they're all fairly similar. My systems are minimal setups -- no archives required, for example -- but they work.
