Greg,
I would recommend using PATROL from bmc software.
There are a lot of utilities but I have found this to be most user
friendly and easy to use ones :
You could use PATROL DB BASIS utilities and it solved most of the
problems without going into dbaccess or touching the sysmaster tables
yourself.
Some of the utilities that are very helpful are
iload, iunload, ischema and ispace.
Some of the features of iunload are multiple unloading at one time and
online compression.
Similarly iload will load multiple tables, multiple threads per table,
and online uncompression.
ischema : will generate all the indexes, views, referential constraints
etc for the entire database or for a particular table.
ispace : will give you the dbspace, allocated space, used space etc,etc
for the entire database, or particular chunk or etc....
I am sure that this is a tool that will help everybody.
You can check the entire details at
http://www.bmc.com/products/pat/dm/zutds.html
or can get the free copy (evaluatin copy) from
http://www.bmc.com
Thanks,
Sunil Thakkar.

dbexport exports a complete database. But, its way too slow. Is there
a way to export and load a database faster.
