remote process ???

Hi people, I like to know what is a REMOTE PROCESS , how its perform and which are the command or instruction by use it. It process remote I will use by UPDATE row to other TABLE, but I have that interact with other tables and text file. Thanks in advanced. ATTE< German Velazquez
