In order for Informix to run effeciently and quickly are there any Unix parameters that need to be tuned?? We just coverted from a 386 to a 486 and from Unix 3.2.3 to Unix 4.0. The 386 running 3.2.3 runs an Informix database program almost 4.5 times faster than the 486 running Unix 4.0! Any and all help is appreciated! Neal Leitner AT&T Bell Labs (201) 564-2463
