You wrote quite a utility there... I had a shell command which used the find command: find / -size $1 -depth -print This specifies to find files bigger than $1 blocks. If you use -size {$1}c then $1 is characters. Also, / can be replaced with a positional parameter as well, I'm just posting the easy way. The result, which can be redirected to a file or wherever, is a list of files while are bigger than the specified size. Tim --- ~ SPEED 1.40 [NR] ~
