Good day. Historically we have the situation followed. There is UTF-8 data loaded into VARCHAR( 250 )Â column in the lv_lv.1257 DB. Till now we red this data using native ESQL/C and after that transformed it on client side so taht make it understandable for users. But now we need read this data from .NET, but .NET can't read it. We are sure that if datatype will be BYTE .NET will successfully read this data. Does anybody know any fast and simple methot of how to change (or cast)Â VARCHAR to BYTE on-fly so that .NET can read it? Or from another side - is there any method to configure .NET so taht it can read this data? Thanks.
