What I failed to make clear was that when we were using 'c4gl' we had a few functions written in 'c', some of which needed to refer to some Informix '#include' files, and it was the '-I' stuff for the '.c.o' rules in our 'makefile' which would have needed altering for 4.13. This still applies to us now as we build a customised 'rds' runner (e.g. our version of 'fglgo') using these same 'c' functions. We always used 'c4gl' in the '.4gl.4go' rule, just as we now use 'fglpc' in the '.4gl.4go' rule. Regards and thanks to Alan Denney for his contribution. -- ============================================================================ Sally Woolrich | This mail contains my personal sally@excelsis.demon.co.uk | views not those of my employer! ============================================================================
