Firstly, Thanks to everyone who replied to my question. Secondly, I now realise my terminology may have been misleading; we incorrectly used the term module to refer to our compiled .4gi programs ie our largest 4gi is 1.1MB. Sorry about any confusion this caused. As most people surmised, there does not seem to an Informix limit to the size of a 4gi, though we did hit a segmentation fault mainly due to our rather large and historical (hysterical ;-) globals file. We have resolved this though, and the module (sorry, program/4gi) works swimmingly.
