I'm assuming this is a circumstance that has just arisen (and looking at
the onconfig) I'm also assuming you may have upgrade recently?
We are experiencing a similar problem. Try onstat -P and see how many
pages of your cache are being used for btree vs. data. This appears to
be a "feature" of 7.30 that is difficult to reproduce in test
situations. If this is the case, you may wish to raise an issue with
Informix tech support.

At first, SAP recommends RAID 5 for dbspaces. It's poor. If you are
using RAID 5, migrate to RAID 0 or RAID 10 - this will _GREATLY_
improve situation.

Try to set this param to 1. It's critical for operation.

As far as I remember, HP-UX supports disabling priority aging. Set this
to 1.

Ooops ! Why are you using AIO ? HP-UX supports KAIO, this will be
faster.
