The seipcpip protocol is a local protocol using UNIX named pipes and is
not available from remote hosts.
To fix the local connection zombie problem you have three alternatives:
1) Use a tcpip connection for local access which will use the sqlexed
which was started using the nozombie program to connect to the
database.
2) Start dbaccess and all programs using the nozombie process.
3) Rename $INFORMIXDIR/etc/sqlexec to $INFORMIXDIR/etc/sqlexec.real and
create a version of nozombie.c that execs the sqlexec.real and put it
in place of sqlexec.
All of this is temporary until the next release of the Linux version.
