need help using dbexport

Hi there, I need to perform a data migration. I understand that there is a data migration tool called dbexport. How can I use dbexport? I tried using it by entering dbexport dbname, I get an error message stating that "Cannot create message file". Any ideas on how to proceed from here.

Hi Katak, I don't know where are you trying to migrate the data. But if your target DB is ODBC compliant you might want to try WinSQL that can be used to migrate data from one source to another.
