VB - Ix ODBC conn failed

Dear All, We are using VB with Informix on Unix connected over CLI. In VB apps if we perform a select using multiple joins or a group by or use MAX() function we get an error ODBC connection failed. This would mean network is no longer connected. I like to know if any one else has faced a similar problem before. Thanks, Dilip Kikla
