Informix se for Linux zombie problem

Using Informix se for Linux as Client/Server design,
when the client side end it's process, the server side's
sqlexec won't exit properly, but leave it as a zombie
process! Any help will be preciated!
I've tried writing VB program in Win31 with informix CLI
ODBC driver and using dbaccess in server through loopback
connection, both get the same zombie result.
If I should provide more detail information about hosts/
services/sqlhosts or any environment variables, please
let me know, Thanks you all!

Much more important is to know whether you're using the
7.24.UC5 version of SE compiled for libc5 or glibc (aka libc6)?
And which of Linux you are using.
Check out the IDN web site for copious information on this.
Some is under the Linux section; some more is under the D4GL section.

I had a similar problem with INFORMIX SE 7.23 on UnixWare7.01. We
finally found that using sqlsignal fixed the zombie processes.
