I don't know offhand from the product information included which compiler that was. But if you don't have the "optional" compiler, it'll tell ya when you compile with the ANSI flag.

Exactly Chuck. Dianne, all my code is ANSI "C" I have given up writing code to be compiled by out of date compilers when GCC is so ubiquitous. HP does not come with an ANSI compiler by default only the K&R compiler needed to relink the kernel and compile the config headers. You have to get either the ANSI HP compiler or GCC for your machine. Art S. Kagel
