Serialization failure 40001 or -11037

Im getting this error via ODBC next to an insert statement ... I cant see how a dead-lock can occur, and always get in the same insert of the same table. Some idea how to deal with this ? Using IBM INFORMIX ODBC DRIVER 2.90 (TC3, TC6) Thanks A.U.S. Enrique Ferreyra
