Re: nls problem ?

NLS is a complex internationalization data arquitecture. It's not obious to
change a NLS database configuration. We have requested to Informix a utility
to change the NLS capabilities of a D.B. but, until now, there are only a
solution, dbexport the database a dbimport it with a diferent NLS sequence.
P.E.
DB_LOCALE=es_es.8859-1 export DBNLS
CLIENT_LOCALE=en_us.8859-1 export CLIENT LOCALEdbexport mydabatase -o /export
DB_LOCALE=en_us.8859-1 export DB_LOCALEdbimport mydatabase -i /export
Hope this helps!
