As of July, 1995 (when I last checked) Roger Sippl's Visigenics Corp. had the rights to develop and sell ODBC for all non-Windows/non-DOS platforms I'm not sure whether or not this is still in effect, or whether or not this is now an exclusive agreement, but I haven't heard anything to counter- indicate it. Visigenics produces the ODBC interface for NewEra and CLI for Informix.
