CPIO from a remote tape

I receive my INFORMIX updates on 1/4 inch tape. In the past I have had a tape drive on the system but having added other devices there isn't space for more SCSI devices. IS IT POSSIBLE TO cpio FROM A REMOTE TAPE? ------------------------------------------------------- J. B.
