Hi Joanne, I have just an experience with HP (HP-UX 10.01 an 10.20) and it works very well indeed. The Logical Volume Manager provided by HP is wonderful, and I have no bugs reported on my 10.01 system for more than one year (I am in a production environment and my uptime is 100% since the beginning of the year). I use 2 K420 boxes with 2 CPU, 1Gb RAM, 48x2Gb disks, mirrored (I setup Informix miror on one server, and HP mirror on the other. Informix mirror is a little more efficient), 256 users, with also my application (WorkStream) running on the same servers. We plan to install MC/ServiceGuard (High availability product from HP) by the end of the year. David...
