I am thinking about going to a conference titled Advanced SQL Programming Techniques which includes a section on using Encoded Characteristic Functions to optimize SQL. The instructor will be David Rozenshtein, Ph.D. Has anyone heard of this technique and it's application? It sounds interesting. I would appreciate any feedback. Dave Mascorro mascorrd@usaa.com
