Netbackup Informix agent for Linux

Hi,
We are planning to move IDS 10.UC6 from HP-UX to RHL-AS4 (64bit). Currently we
use Informix netbackup agent for logical logs and level 0 archive using
ON-BAR. We have been told that Informix netbackup is not supported on Linux.
Is that correct? I know TSM is good option but be difficult due to financials
and existence of another storage manager (netbackup). I can use ONTAPE
(excellent and simple) but would like to use ON-BAR only. Other option is use
ISM. Database size is 100 GB. I am sure so many out here will be using onbar
on Linux (without TSM). Can you please share your experiences on:
1. Preferred File system type XFS, EXT3 etc. for ISM to store logical logs and
archives
2. Any thing in particular I should be aware of using ISM on Linux e.g.
limitation etc.
3. Any URL/link on how to setup ISM with some sort of ISM installation
checklist
Thanks.

Hi,
The following link reports the OS compatibility matrix for
Netbackup v6.

The following link reports the Netbackup's latest compatibility
matrix for IDS.

Hope the above links will clarify your questions over IDS & Netbackup on
RHL - AS4
