Hi Kevin, It looks like the X Display environment has not been set in order to use the graphical installer. If so, hope this helps. To run the graphical installer/wizard, you could try starting an X Windows session between the Linux box and your laptop/desktop. On the Linux session (where the Informix Warehouse installer is invoked), indicate that your laptop/desktop will be used as the display device. Example: - On the laptop/desktop: Install or use an X Windows Server software that allows you to start an X server session. Start an X Server session. Leave it running. - Then, on the Linux box you are trying the GUI install, export the DISPLAY variable to point to the laptop/desktop (which has an X Server session running), and it should launch the GUI installer: cd /tmp/IWServer/uncompressed/dir export DISPLAY=<ip address of your laptop/desktop>:0.0 ./install.bin -Dprofile=/tmp/activationkeyfile.zip Another option is to do the silent install of the Informix Warehouse Feature. This doesn't require the X11 display environment.
