all operation not work (insert delete update) / maybe permission problem

Hello there, I import a new database into Informix 10 from the old system. The owner for this DB is the same from old system and part of the Informix group (under etc/group) Than I successfully assignment all tables within MS-Access by using ODBC. Now becomes my problem when I tried to delete, insert, and update a record from MS-Access side leads that I cannot do all those operation. I have already checked the "online.log" and there is nothing helping me to avoid and solve this problem. If you suspect it to be a permission problem, you could do a a quick test to grant dba to public.... YIKES... revoke it later!!!!!!!!!!!!! if you do an op what does onstat -g sql tell you, it should show sql errors.. you can also enable odbc logging.... Superboer. The only user who should belong to group informix is user informix. No-one else needs to belong; no-one else should belong if you value your data. The DB owner can kill the entire IDS instance anytime they choose, whether accidentally or on purpose, if you make them a member of group informix.
