IDS 11.7 Developer Edition Limits

The only documentation on limits that I can find for sessions, memory, CPU VPs or size are dated Nov 7,2007 for IDS 11.10. When configuring dbspaces to look somewhat like our production system, the Developer Edition stopped me with "Cannot add a new chunk to the DBspace. The limits of the IBM Informix Demo Version have been exceeded". I've already looked in the release notes for Machine, Documentation Release, etc. Nothing there.

Thanks, Fernando. I grep'd on about everything I could. The ids_unix_relnotes_11.70.txt talks about not exceeding the connection limits for session pooling but doesn't say what they are. Much appreciated. Laurie 8GB: http://www.ibm.com/developerworks/data/library/techarticle/dm-0801doe/index.html This link is in the release notes. Regards. On Wed, Mar 30, 2011 at 12:26 AM, LAURIE S. You may be able to use the free Innovator Edition instead, it is not disk limited, it only has CPU and memory limits and some features are not available. Art Art S.
