Hello, Currently we are using IDS 9.3 (32 bits) on Sun Solaris 6 and we are planning to upgrade to IDB 11.5 (32 bits). Apparently IDS 11.5 is not supported on Sun Solaris 6, so we'll have to upgrade to Solaris 10 and then to IDS 11.5. Have anyone gone this route? Is this the best way to go about? Any advise? Thanks in advance for your response! If you can upgrade your O/S in place, then the IDS 9 engine will still run and you can then in-place upgrade the engine to 11.5. Where is the 64 bit in the title coming from? Keith
The subject of your post references "32bit to 64bit". But you ask about IDS 11.5 32 bit. What do you mean by 64 bit? Solaris 10? Using Solaris 10 I think you could go for IDS 11.50 64bit... Regards.
