Recommendation of a 3rd Party Backup software package

Hi,
I'm currently running IDS 7.3 and I am using ontape with a file for each
backup device. I'm interested in backing up one instance and the logical
logs to disk using a 3rd party tool. A point in time recovery feature is a
requirement.
Does anyone have a favorite backup tool that they use?
I would appreciate any comments.
Thanks in advance,

Informix OnBar with Legato Networker is solid.

But Art,
Have you actually done any restores with it?

But Art,
Have you ever tried to call tech support?
Give me BMC's SQL-Backtrack. Maybe even Specra Logic's Alexandria.

I'm using OnBar with ADSM...
And yes, I have done restores with it....
Now, if Informix would just provide backup/log aging and deletion, it would
be a WHOLE lot better.

Yes, while I use ontape on most of the servers, Legato has never ported
the support libraries to their M88K platforms, the news servers are on
Sun and we use onbar with Legato there. The only problems we have had
restoring have been related to Sun having incompatible tape driver
versions on different machines here where we tried to use archives to
clone servers to backup servers. Once we resolved that one all is well.
