Justin, Which version of ESQL/C? Look for a -EI option instead of, or as well as, the -I option. Later versions (after 5.0x I think) treat -I and -EI the same; earlier versions (4.1x, maybe) didn't handle -I or -EI, and in the middle, -EI worked but -I was ignored by the esqlc pre-compiler.
