statistics on column access

I'm new to Informix but familiar with a couple other database products. I've encountered a table in a legacy database which has over 100 columns. I've a hunch many of those are never accessed in any SQL. How can I examine the stats? That would be more efficient than reading mountains of source code and even if I did I might miss an adhoc query. Chris O'Connor Sent via Deja.com http://www.deja.com/ Before you buy.

Hi there, I don't think that there is a 'hi-there-your-column-has- been-accessed-xxx-times-so-far' table ;-) What about revoking select permissions for a growing number of columns ? That way you just have to revoke permissions for a columns, run your application and wait wether there occurs an error or not. Maybe not the most tricky hint, but should work... Hth, Chris
