This makes most all programs using the If an application is 'blocked' it will not become re-entrant. There is a callback convention to allow your application to be come blocked while awaiting data. If there is a clearly defined call to the database your application will not become re-entrant. If you call the database on a SetFocus or DrawItem or PaintObject call then PeekMessage will ruin your day. If there is a a moment is processing which is not defined by events but by user intervention ('Go get data' button) then your application will not have the re-entrant problem. The PeekMessage paradigm will allow other applications waiting for processing to continue get a slice of the CPU. Your application should recognize the 'multi-tasking' allowed by this paradigm and protect itself from it!
