Hide field in INPUT ARRAY

Is there a way to do an INPUT ARRAY without having to let the user see all the elements in the record? I have a couple of fields I'd like to keep "hidden" from the user and just "carry" them along as the user inserts and deletes rows. Keeping them in a seperate array is the only option I can come up with, but then you have to maintain that array as the user adds and deletes from the real array. Secondly, in an AFTER ROW clause, is there a way to keep the user on the row they are trying to leave? Under certain circumstances I'd like to use the AFTER ROW clause to check things out, and make them stay on the line if they've entered inconsistant data.
