Hi Dirch, DS> into temp tmp_eworte DS> DS> This statement ends with the error message -458 (Long transaction DS> aborted). Why do we get this message???? There are no rows updated or DS> inserted by the statement and there is no BEGIN WORK given before. Can DS> anybody explain this to me???? every insert into the temporary table is logged. Add "with no log" to the "into temp tmp_eworte" and the problem will disappear. Greetings, Joerg
