In fact, it's onstat -, and everything else, including the HP-UX utility "glance", that hangs on me. And I have to re-boot, not even a kill -9 will remove the oninits. You have to be patient with any oncheck that looks at logs. It can take some considerable time to check a large volume of logical logs.
