Batch mode for Wingz? Need for cron job.

I need to know whether Wingz (the Informix spreadsheet) can be used in some kind of batch mode. What I'm trying to do is invoke Wingz from a cron job to update a couple of spreadsheets with new data each day. Sadly Wingz requires that I give it a $DISPLAY variable so that it can open its pretty windows all over the place. However, since my cron job needs to run in the small hours of the morning and at the weekend, I have no guarantee that my Xserver will be up and running. So I'd really like to invoke Wingz to run silently - without opening any windows, but still doing the file manipulation behind the scenes.
