Cathy, You're off to a good start by joining the list. 1. Find the faq at www.iiug.org. 2. Find out more about Informix publications via www.informix.com or www.prenhall.com (I believe Informix Press is a subsidiary of Prentiss Hall). 3. Get the excellent book about 4GL programming with Informix, which incidentally includes tips on administration by your namesake, Cathy Kipp. 4. Also books by Lumbley, Leffler, Doe, Suto, et al. (all solid) 5. (and lest I forget, ;0, the documentation).
