C-ISAM to Informix rdb conversion utilities

What utilities/tools exist to ease moving data from (Informix) C-ISAM files over to a series of Informix databases? We've recently acquired a suite of 'replacement' applications and would like to move the existing data over to the new apps, but our software vendor claims the only way to do so is by writing a suite of C programs (for which he'll charge us a mere arm and leg). Is there a better way? We have access to what I believe to be the full range of Informix products, and I _want_ to assume that there's a cleaner and easier approach.
